BERNINA Bobbins

The BERNINA bobbin is available in four different designs. Metal bobbins are used on all BERNINA sewing machines except the 7 Series and 8 Series. Here, the first design to the far left is intended for use with rotary hooks and the second design is for use with CB hooks. Metal bobbins are available in sets of 10.

The third design is the new bobbin that is intended for use with the 8 Series. It has 80% more thread capacity than conventional bobbins and pops out when slight finger pressure is applied. The fourth bobbin is compatible with BERNINA sewing machines from the 7 series.

The bobbin for the B 9 hook holds 80% more thread than conventional bobbins. This makes it possible to sew longer without interruption on a full bobbin. The bobbins for the BERNINA 7 and 8 Series are conveniently packaged in canisters so that they are easy to find in your sewing box.
