Join Sewing Machine Warehouse for the Center Stage Quilt Class taught by instructor Cat Knudtson. This class is a perfect opportunity to finally use that special focus fabric you've been saving for the right project.
The Center Stage Quilt is a fun and fast quilt that uses just four main fabrics and comes together quickly. The design highlights your feature fabric while creating a striking quilt layout that looks more complex than it actually is. Because of its straightforward construction, this project is a great option for beginners while still being enjoyable for experienced quilters.
During the class sessions, Cat will guide you step-by-step through cutting, layout, and piecing techniques to help you successfully complete your quilt top.

Cost: $120.00 – includes instruction and pattern
Students provide their own fabric.

Fabric Requirements
Finished quilt size: 54" x 54"
- Fabric A – Focus fabric & binding: 1½ yards
- Fabric B – Light: 1 yard
- Fabric C – Dark: ¾ yard
- Fabric D – Center of rail fence: 1 yard
- Backing: 62" x 62"
Supplies to Bring
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Foot control
- 1/4" presser foot
- Sharp needles (size 80 – not universal)
- Quality sewing thread
- 6" x 12" ruler (or another ruler at least 12" long)
- Rotary cutter
- Rotary cutting mat at least 17" x 22"
- Scissors (good fabric shears)
- Quilter's straight pins (thin and long)
- Seam ripper
- Safety pins (at least 1" long)
- Soft tape measure
- Post-it notes or paper for labeling fabric
- Fabric marking pen or chalk
- Personal iron and wool pressing mat
- Pencil and paper for notes
