Kids Summer Sewing & Craft Camp – Ages 8+

Creative Summer Fun at Sewing Machine Warehouse in the San Fernando Valley

Let your child discover the joy of sewing, quilting, and crafting this summer at Sewing Machine Warehouse! Our Kids Summer Sewing & Craft Camp is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience designed for children aged 8 and older. Whether your child is brand new to sewing or already loves to create, this camp offers the perfect blend of learning and fun.

Each week, campers will learn how to safely and confidently use a sewing machine while working on a variety of exciting, age-appropriate projects. Highlights include creating their own Rail Fence quilt, sewing Disappearing 4-Patch quilt, and completing a Sew Together Bag—a functional, zippered organizer that teaches valuable skills like working with layers, zippers, and lining, we will even have a week where we make Summer Shorts & a Tote Bag. Campers will also enjoy crafting sessions, interactive games, and collaborative creative time with fellow young makers.

Our friendly instructors specialize in teaching kids and create a supportive, encouraging environment where creativity thrives. No previous sewing experience is required—just a willingness to learn and have fun!

Camp Details

• Open to kids ages 8 and up
• Runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Early drop-off available at no extra charge (with advanced arrangement)
• All supplies and materials included
• Cost: $650 per week
• Taught in our fully equipped sewing classroom

2025 Camp Weeks

• June 23–27 - Project:  Rail Fence Quilt
• July 7–11 - Project:  Zippered bag
• July 21–25 - Project:  Summer Shorts & Tote Bag
• August 4–8 - Project: Disappearing Nine Patch Quilt
