Join us for a creative 10-month quilting journey featuring the elegant and versatile Calm & Bright quilt pattern by Quilt Moments. This Block of the Month series focuses on a modern take on the classic Star of Bethlehem design—pieced using only squares and rectangles, with no Y-seams required!

Guided by instructor Cat Knudtson, each monthly class will walk you through step-by-step construction of vibrant star blocks while allowing for customization in layout and color selection.

Class Features:

• Step-by-step instruction on the Calm & Bright pattern by Quilt Moments
• No Y-seams or complex piecing—only squares and rectangles
• Choose between one or two background fabrics
• Use one accent fabric throughout or mix it up each month
• Two size options:
  • Small quilt: 72" x 72" with 12" blocks (ideal for fat eighths)
  • Large quilt: 96" x 96" with 16" blocks (fat quarter friendly)
• Monthly quilting tips for accuracy and design

All classes are held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What to Bring:

A full supply list will be provided after registration. Please bring your sewing machine, standard quilting tools, and selected fabrics based on your layout preference. We’ll help you choose coordinating fabrics if needed.
