Quiting With Cat - Watercolor Geometry Quilt
Join Sewing Machine Warehouse and quilt teacher Cat Knudtson for basic quilting.
This is quilting from the ground up.
You will learn how:
To prepare fabrics properly for cutting.
To cut your fabrics correctly with a rotary cutter.
To piece correctly using different techniques
To properly sash and add borders to your quilt
You will be making a basic strip quilt with a Bargello Effect

Quilting Supplies Required:
6"x12" Ruler - or ruler at least 12" long
Rotary Cutter
Rotary Cutting mat at least 17"x22"
Scissors (good fabric shears)
Quilter's straight pins - thin and long
Sewing Thread - quality thread
Seam Ripper
Safety pins (at least 1" long)
Soft Tape Measure
Post It Notes (or other paper to mark fabric with)
