About the Event:
Craving a serene haven to weave your creativity? Or perhaps, seeking companionship amidst the rhythmic hum of sewing machines? Our Sit and Sew promises both and more. From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, transform our store into your workshop, immersing yourself in your sewing or embroidery projects, without the formalities of a tutorial class.
Who Can Attend?
All sewing and embroidery enthusiasts, novices to experts, looking for a quiet escape to progress on their projects or simply relish some sewing camaraderie.
Features:
- Self-directed Sewing: Progress at your own pace, free from any teaching distractions.
- Friendly Assistance: While the day is tailored for self-guided sewing, our team is on-hand for brief guidance or to help clarify any minor project-related questions.
- Facilities: Enjoy access to a 4 ft reserved table, (community iron, cutting table, and rotary cutting mat (carry your ruler and rotary cutter).
- Machine Rental: Please contact the store directly for information about rental possibilities.
What to Bring:
Your machine, project, and any requisite supplies. While you're encouraged to carry everything you might need, the store offers basic sewing notions for purchase for any forgotten essentials.
Duration:
You're not bound by time! Join and depart at your convenience, making the most of this flexible session.
Cost:
A mere $10 for a day's retreat.
Booking & Capacity:
Given the limited space, prior sign-up is essential to ensure smooth arrangements.
Cancellation Policy:
Life's unpredictable! If you need to cancel, doing so over 24 hours prior lets you reschedule or avail a store credit. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations (below 24 hours) mean a forfeited session fee.

While the day promises sewing immersion, kindness is key. Respect shared spaces and maintain a harmonious atmosphere for everyone.
