Need some time away from home to get your projects done? Looking for some company while you sew or embroider? Welcome to Monday Sewing Escape!
Every Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM you can come into the store with your machine and project and work on your project in the company of others. This is a work-on-your-own project at your own pace open sewing time, and there won't be any teaching to distract you from your own project.
if I have a question about my project will you answer it? Yes, briefly, however, this escape is an opportunity for you to use our space to work on your self-directed projects. We provide owners' classes and sewing instruction classes at other times.
What if I don't own a machine, can I rent one? Yes. We have a limited number of machines available to rent at $10 per session, make and model are dependent on what is available. Machine rental at this Sewing Escape is intended for people that do not have a machine to have a chance to use one. We are happy to help you get your own machine out of the car if you need assistance and will put it back in at the end of your sewing session.
What kind of projects can I work on? Whatever you like. You will have a reserved space for one 4 ft table. You may use our iron, cut table, and rotary cutting mat (please bring your own ruler and rotary cutter). Don't forget to bring the supplies you need for your project, but if you forget something, basic sewing notions are available for purchase.
Do I have to stay the whole day? No, you may come in when you like and leave when you like. We are glad to provide a place for you to work and enjoy the company of other crafters.
Space is limited and you must sign up in advance so we know how many people to plan for.
Cost for the Sewing Escape? $10 per day session
Can I cancel my Sewing Escape session? Yes. More than 24 hours in advance and we will move your session to another date or give you a store credit. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance you will forfeit your class fee.
